Pete's Visit to Bangalore

Pete punwani is on a week long visit to India. I am going to meet Pete for the first time today. He is my boss at Infosys and is based out of the US. Pete looks at Utilities segment of the business. I have certain career related concerns and queries which I would like to raise to him, at a pertinent time.

Because of the meeting with Pete, and subsequent team dinner, I will miss my Kannada classes for today.

Swetha and Dhairya have gone to Okalipuram, to spend time with her folks for a few days.

Today is Thursday and I am dying to see the weekend. The lack of work and boredom in office is really killing me.

Kannada Kali !!

Kannada Kali - means "Learn Kannada" or so I think !

I joined Basic Kannada classes at Infosys today. I intend to learn some tids bits of it.. hope I can remember it till this blog survives.

Some basic words:

Nannu Ashish : I am Ashish
Nanna Ashish: My name is Ashish
Ninnu Swetha: You are Swetha
Ninna Swetha: Your name is Swetha

etc. etc.

The classes are for 2 hours a week for 5-6 weeks.

So now....Nanage Kannada gottu... !!!!

Working from home

its for the first time today that I'm trying to work from home... hope to do this more often...saves the trouble of traveling through traffic jams of Bangalore and time to trundle through infy campus..

Work from home has been made possible by the Airtel broadband connection that I acquired on Saturday morning.. its been working pretty fine..Rs. 599 per month and it allows 1 GB data transfer for free.. for additional data transfer, they charge Rs. 2 per MB... (approx. Rs. 43.5 per USD)

Anyway...let me see how I go about maintaining this particular blog and hope it does not meet the fate of my two previous blogs..

so..dear blog...see you again soon...! I look upto you to pull me out of boredom and give me something interesting to write..!!
